What is Notes Jokes & Hope
Note Jokes & Hope is more than a festival! It hosts national musical artists, comedians and recording industry executives from all over the country.
This event is unlike any other ever seen in the region. While it hosts national, international and local artists and performers this festival promises to be more than just a musical event. We are hopeful in changing the lives of our community by offering services, information, and support by experts.
Note Jokes & Hope features seminars and symposiums aimed at providing outlets and professional outreach for those in need. Free seminars on credit repair, first time home buying, auto loan procurement, youth empowerment, teenage pregnancy prevention, and resources for young women affected by it and record industry 101 seminars are highlighted during this event.
In addition to that, there is a competition. Note Jokes & Hope is a 3-day event where artists compete amongst each other to win the Grand Prize on day 3. The Grand Prize was $5000, a Chevy Spark, and a Label and Development Deal. The competition is Live Streamed to Social Media. Fans vote via Social Media or at the event for their favorite artist to go through to the next round. The final round is voted on by Industry Professionals!
